Strength in numbers is a familiar expression, isn’t it? For us, it resonates with this beautiful verse in The Holy Bible from Ecclesiastes 4:12. When God is in the center, a relationship becomes stronger. There is strength in numbers.
We are stronger and more powerful when we have more than one person on our team. Imagine if God was on YOUR team?
This the the kind of relationship that lasts and stays strong and doesn’t wear out or break. Wow!
A cord of three strands is not easily broken.
Ecclesiastes 4:12
As humans we are so vulnerable to our emotions & thoughts. The world around us can encroach into our lives and influence the way we treat one another. If we disagree then we are lying to others and ourselves.
It was the year 1982. As a kid in the National Cadet Corps I was facinated by knots that could strengthen cords & ropes. Fast forward 40 years, I am further amazed by the simple concept of how an additional strand can strengthen a cord. My relationship with Rachel has become so much stronger by introducing God as that third strand.
